This fish is a nasty little livebearer.
While it's related to the guppy it's far from being a friend addition to any tank. As this fish will happily eat any fish half it's own size.

Males get to 4-5 inches
Females are usually more likely to get to 6-10 inches
Largest fish know of was around 18 inches in length.

These are not active fish, they tend to sit and wait for prey fish to swim past them.
Males will never be seen in front of the females as they too could easily become food to large females.
The male live behind the females and rarely moves from that position.

The female will usually give birth every 4-5 weeks and the feeding reaction in females is so well turned off the female will not eat any fish or fry for over 24 hours.
